White-faced Ibis - Not

Hi Ibis-Chasers,

I whiffed on the Ibis today. I was at Truitt's Landing from 10:35 to 1:40
and saw a maximum of six Ibis. Unfortunately they were all very Glossy. The
larger flock may have broken up, or the rest of them may have simply been
hunkered down in the tall vegetation on the north edge of the first open
water on the left. That's where the six fled in ones and twos from time to
time, only to reappear later. Of course, they could also have been sending
small groups out from the larger flock. I don't know how to tell the
difference.

This bird, if still in the county, could be working the marsh all the way
from George Island Landing to South Point. Help!

Congratulations to Jim and Marshall for a great find, and to Paul Pisano for
being in the area with a cell phone and for having a good friend (Ottavio
Janni) call him. Makes me start to think seriously about technology.
