Hi everyone,

Lunchtime birding in a Rockville park this week (Wednesday and Friday)
turned up 13 warbler species:

Chestnut-sided
Parula
Nashville
Black-throated Blue
Blackpoll
Black and White
Yellow
Yellow-rumped
N. Waterthrush
Common Yellowthroat
Redstart
Ovenbird
Magnolia
Blue-winged

Also interesting: 10 Solitary Sandpipers (not acting very solitary), 2
Spotted Sandpipers, both orioles, Scarlet Tanagers, a late Ruby-crowned
Kinglet, and a Lincoln's Sparrow.

Bob Augustine and I have been birding this park for 2 years (mostly
mid-day) and have compiled a list of
95+ species. I'd be happy to provide directions to the park if anyone wants
them!
