I would just like to ask that all birders consider spending their
birding dollars at/with a retailer that specializes in bird stuff.
These guys really need your patronage a lot more than Barnes and Noble
and Amazon. Around the DC and Baltimore areas, there are a number of
Wild Bird Centers, the Audubon Naturalist Society bookshop at Woodend,
and then there is always my favorite, Buteo Books (www.buteobooks.com)
for those who want to do the on-line thing. I'm sure there are many
other specialty shops and stores of this type and it really is in our
best interest to give them as much of our business as we can. Or at
least do the ABA Sales route....
