On May 12 the Lakeside Ponds still had 2 White-rumped Sandpipers as well as Semi Sands, Semi Plovers, Leasts, both Yellowlegs, and one Solitary Sand. The new bird of the day was a LEAST BITTERN, sitting on the edge of the pond and photographed by two environmental consultants planting trees there. On May 13 there was 1 White-rumped, the usual suspects, and 1 Least Tern. Rick "A great many people now reading and writing would be better employed keeping rabbits."
