Thanks to all who gave information about the vireos at Dyke Marsh. I =
went there this evening to find them. And of course, now that I know =
where to find them, there was one singing as soon as we got there. It =
was a very cooperative bird, giving great looks. We found the nest, too, =
but there was no bird on it when we were looking at it. Since I've =
finally seen one, now I'll see them everywhere, probably. It had a =
really pretty song, too.
As I was looking up for the vireo, a Common Nighthawk flew overhead.
