Hi All:
I did some while-running-errands-kind-of-birding on Wed. and managed to
pick up a Black-crowned Night Heron ( adult) for my county list on a
stop at the fish hatchery ponds in Elkton. Also present was a Glossy
Ibis hanging out with 1/2 dz. Cattle Egret. Wed. evening my husband & I
walked at Fair Hill and found Bobolinks that are presumably nesting in
the meadows. Unfortunately, this field is due to be mowed, so a
bittersweet sighting, knowing their habitat will soon be gone.
