Couldn't pass up last eveing's lovliness and Carol and I packed up the dogs and walked them/birded David Force. There was high activity in the open field area. A family of COMMON YELLOWTHROATS scolded us from the thickets. FIELD SPARROWS heard singing but not seen. Plenty of evidence of breeding all around, unfortunately HOUSE WRENS seem to be in most of the houses. WOOD THRUSH were heard in the woods. WHITE-EYED VIREO singing at the start of the path. My canine ID skills were put into use when we happened on a family with a NOVA SCOTIA DUCK TOLLING RETRIEVER. An EBONY JEWELWING was in the wooded stream area. Just the most wonderful evening!
