Lydia, The problem with Seneca Creek (as with just about all MD state parks) is that it doesn't open until much later than most birders want access to the area. MD State Parks are run, apparently, for picnickers, canoeists, paddle boaters, ball players, and horseshoe tossers. The few times I have taken a field trip into Seneca Creek, we had to park along the shoulder of a very busy Clopper Road, then hike in through the power line access area. It's a great spot to bird but almost too much hassle to bother with, sad to say. Norm =============== Norm Saunders Colesville, MD osprey@ari.net
