[MDOsprey] King and Virginia Rails as yard birds

The southern end of James Run, just before it enters the Bush River
at Rt. 40 in Harford County, is an extensive marsh. Access is very
difficult and requires thrashing through the woods or birding from the
railroad tracks at Rt. 40, which is noisy nearly 24 hours a day.
From my house, however, it is only about a quarter of a mile to one
section of the marsh and the past three nights I have heard, for the first
time, rails calling from the marsh, including several Virginia Rails and at
least one King Rail. Since I was standing on the front porch at the time, I
count these as yard birds, nearly the first rails I have ever had on my
yard list. I am trying to figure out how to get to that section of the
marsh, but it will require walking through various back yards.
