Thank you everybody for your replies about the Kirtland's Warbler. Thanks to Jane's posting especially, I realize now that the Kirtland's Warbler Tours page: http://svinet2.fs.fed.us/r9/hmnf/hmdoc6b.htm actually does seem to say that the tours out of Grayling ARE offered every day. The emphasis is so heavy in the paragraph about the Mio tours not going on Mon/Tues, that I didn't see that this doesn't apply to the to the Grayling tours ... apparently. I'm going to call tomorrow to confirm this and I'll post the results if I get thru. And, of course, if I do end up going there, I'll let you know the results. (It does sound like it would be pretty iffy to find the warblers without going on a tour.) Thanks again to everbody.
