The first fall migrants of the season at Liberty Lake, Carroll County were noted on Sunday, June 27 when Debbie Terry and I checked the flats at the end of Murray Road. The waterbird list for the day was: Great Blue Heron - 3 Canada Goose - 289 Mallard - 16 Killdeer - 53 Least Sandpiper - 2 Tree, Rough-winged, Cliff, and Barn Swallows were also working over the lake.
