Marshall,

When Kyle Rambo and I were trying to re-locate the Anhingas he found on
June 15 we saw 29+ Brown Pelicans on the bay off Cedar Point.  Many were
resting on the rocks that used to be home for the Cedar Point
Lighthouse, but others were just heading North out in the Bay.  I
watched a few until they disappeared.  I am sure they were in Calvert
County waters.  I can ask Kyle if he agrees.

I thought it was interesting that I was just about to ask Jim Stasz and
Bob Ringler if they had been seeing Pipevine Swallowtails recently.
They have been nectaring on my Mimosa as well.  I don't believe that we
have many of their host species (except ornamental clematis) in the
area.
