Marshall, When Kyle Rambo and I were trying to re-locate the Anhingas he found on June 15 we saw 29+ Brown Pelicans on the bay off Cedar Point. Many were resting on the rocks that used to be home for the Cedar Point Lighthouse, but others were just heading North out in the Bay. I watched a few until they disappeared. I am sure they were in Calvert County waters. I can ask Kyle if he agrees. I thought it was interesting that I was just about to ask Jim Stasz and Bob Ringler if they had been seeing Pipevine Swallowtails recently. They have been nectaring on my Mimosa as well. I don't believe that we have many of their host species (except ornamental clematis) in the area. Good Birding, Patty Craig Dameron, St. Mary's County, MD pattycraig@mail.ameritel.net
