Folks: This just in from Shawneen Finnegan. Greetings: The Little Stint continues to be seen at the Higbee dredge spoil impoundments, at least as of 11AM today, Friday July 16th, the latest report from CMBO. See previous posts for specific directions. To repeat yesterday's parking situation: A word of warning to people parking at Bayshore and New England (1.5 miles from impoundments). The farmer who lives at the southwest corner, where some people are parking, is placing signs on the cars that say WARNING: YOU ARE PARKING ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED." If you insist on parking at Bayshore and New England, park on the east side of the road. The northside of the intersection (Bayshore Road) was recently made all no parking. Better yet, for the sake of community harmony, please car pool, have someone drop you off and return later to pick you up, or park at Sunset Beach and walk in that way, which takes about 35 minutes.
