To all Ruff seekers - Looks like the party may be over. As of 4:45 today
(Monday) neither Ruff nor controversial Dowitcher had been seen (at least
not reported to the WWTF Staff). I, along with several others, searched
the settling pond from 3:30 to 4:45 - and no Ruff.

A weak cool front came through this area during the night - and perhaps
that was enough to move the birds along. So - the Sunday visitors were the
last of the lucky ones - unless subject bird shows up for an encore. ( I
will be checking on it again tomorrow - just in case).

The Bobolinks have stayed. Linda Baker and Bobbie Mumford and I consoled
ourselves with a drive to the corner of the evaporation fields where they
have been hanging around, and had the good fortune of the whole flock
deciding to lift and shift to another part of the field - we agreed that
close to 100 would be a more accurate number than the measly 40 or so that
I mentioned in a previous posting, with many of the males still in dark
uniforms.
