Hi all -- Barry and friend Peter went to the Delaware Bay Thursday and found it much as Joe Halpin did, however, they did find that Woodlawn Beach WMA -- especially the large pool to the left of Rt. 9 which is usually deeply flooded, is getting into excellent condition for shorebirds. They ran out of time to do it all, but did have a couple of Wilson's Phalaropes. Several years ago, in another drought, it became THE place, with Hudsonian Godwits, Ruff etc. so be sure to check this place out as well. It is north of Bombay Hook, btw. Gail Mackiernan
