The Red-necked Phalarope was at the same pond at Point Lookout State Park between 7:10 and 7:30 this morning (Saturday, 7 Aug). Facing the pond from the road, it was back along the left edge, towards some snags. Also present were two Lesser Yellowlegs, a Spotted Sandpiper, and a Pectoral Sandpiper. The bird walk at Pax River NAS yielded 15 Upland Sandpipers (no interesting terns today). Thanks, Kyle, for a great outing. Stan Arnold
