<color><param>0100,0100,0100</param>Thanks to the inspiration provided by Andy Rabin with the news of his Saturday sightings up in the Lilypons area, Fran and I headed up there this morning. At Lilypons itself we saw killdeer, a dozen or so pectoral sandpiper, 5 spotted sandpiper, 1 least sandpiper, 6 solitary sandpiper, 1 Along Oland Road, vesper sparrow, 3 upland sandpiper, 1 At the Harney Road Ponds: killdeer, 25 semipalmated plover, 3 pectoral sandpiper, 25 or more stilt sandpiper, 1 least sandpiper, 20 upland sandpiper, 4 (flew into the field across the road from the west pond while we were looking unsuccessfully for a reported American golden plover) We also checked out the Ott House in Emmittsburg, for lunch. A good hamburger at a low price. Best, Norm <nofill> =============== Norm Saunders Colesville, MD osprey@ari.net
