Mary Jo, As I exited the parking lot on the north side, I passed through the gate and proceeded up the hill. There is a grove of white oaks near the top and I followed a mowed path that passed just north of these trees and followed a fence line. I was standing along that fence line looking south back in the direction the river and I saw the warbler in a hole in the leaf cover in an area of mixed conifers and deciduous trees. I would estimate that the river is 200 yards away down the hill from where I saw the bird. There are no fields between those woods and the river. Chris Barnard cbarnard52@aol.com
