Hi Jane (and others). Has it really been determined if the snags are in Maryland? Long-time DC listers consider that they are in DC, although the adjacent shoreline is Maryland's. I have been twice and both times, including today, the bird was on the snags or upstream, so I have yet to see it (for certain) in Maryland. Dang. Gail Mackiernan
