Gail, though I was making my way home at the time, I too noticed a good flight of (especially )swifts and nighthawks, as I was heading up Layhill Rd towards the RedDoor Store at Norwood&Layhill. The birds were heading basically east (towards Colesville) at about 5:40 or so. Wish I had had time to stop... Rick Sussman Ashton,MD
