This morning we discovered a complete lack of mud at BB. The rain "greened" it up and the only shorebirds in evidence were 3 killdeer and a peep-presumed least. There was a BLACK and WHITE Warbler and a couple quiet empids. An OSPREY sailed over the water and a family of BLUE GROSBEAKS (1 adult male and 3 juveniles) gave us wonderful looks from the brush along the road. A YBCUCKOO sang steadily from the Montgomery side and the the grace to fly over to the Howard side before we left. A lovely morning, Bonnie Ott
