Dear Ospreyer's,
I had a great morning at the Harney road ponds this morning:
1 juv Baird's sp
1 juv Buff-breast sp
1 juv Short-billed dowitcher
14 Killdeer
20 Pectoral sp
37 Least sp
10 Semipalmated sp
5 Semipalmated plovers
1 spotted sandpiper
2 blue-winged teal
11 wood duck
All but the wood ducks were at the west pond, the one closer
to the barns.  The east ponds' water level is up significantly
and has covered over the good foraging habitat that the shorebirds
had been using.
