Bit of a slow start this am, but as the sun finally began to break through, things picked up. However, birds appeared to be in scattered mixed flocks, many not in the expected (or usual) locations! Recorded were: Red-eyed Vireo (12), Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher (2), Rose-breasted Grosbeak (1), Baltimore Oriole (2), House Wren (15), and 11 spp. of warbler: Black-and-white (10), Black-throated Blue (13), Black-throated Green (2), Blackburnian (2), Chestnut-sided (10), Canada (2), Magnolia (10), Redstart (15), Parula (1), Prairie (1), Common Yellowthroat (7), also a "baypoll" not seen well.
