Hi All:
Well, it`s a good thing we had our sign dedication on the 1st when birds
were actually flying, `cause it was REAL dead this am.
Non-existent to light wind from NNW, > 50% cloud cover, fair.
Between 9-11am:
Osprey- 2 ( non-migratory )
Bald Eagle- 1 ""
Sharp-shin Hawk- 3
Hawk watch coverage at the moment is every Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat.ams and the
occasional Friday. '

Although I always enjoy my surroundings at TP, I nonetheless fret somewhat
over the lack of activity, so was delighted when a splendid PILEATED
WOODPECKER flew through the clearing, then called.
Other migrants:
Yellow-throated Vireo (1 ), White-eye Vireo ( 4 ), Red-eye Vireo ( 7),
Red-breasted Nuthatch (1),
Yellow-billed Cuckoo (1 ), Eastern Peewee ( 1), Great-crested Flycatcher
(1),
Ruby-throated Hummingbird ( 5), Gnatcatchers ( 11 ).
Warblers: Moving fast and high in the treetops for the most part, many went
unIDed.
Black/white - 2
Northern Parula- 5
Chestnut-sided- 1
Am. Redstart- 7
Magnolia - 1
Blue-wing- 1
