Hi,

I received a message from Marty Cribb that he had seen the Bridled Tern
off the causeway at Point Lookout State Park this evening at 5:30 PM.
He thought it had flown into Tanner Creek. I went down and arrived
around 6 PM. I saw nothing as I drove by Tanner Creek, but found a
large flock of terns and gulls by the fishing pier following a fishing
boat. I scanned through the group and found a Bridled Tern. I followed
it with a scope for a few minutes, then it passed another going in the
opposite direction, the first turned and followed. For a few seconds I
had two Bridled Terns in the scope at once. One had more white on the
forehead and was also slightly lighter overall. The entire group flew
south into the fog or haze.

I then went north to Scotland Beach and found four more dark terns. One
was a Black Tern, but I am unsure of the identity of the other three due
to the distance and lighting.

So, there are at least two and possibly more Bridled Terns in the Point
Lookout area.
