My wife and I visited North Assateague at 3 p.m. yesterday, and walked the
ocean shore for about 2 and 1/2 miles (to marker post 75). No really
unusual sightings.

Caspian Tern 9
Brown Pelican 28 +
RT Hummingbird	1
Ruddy Turnstone	4
Black-bellied Plover	4
Semi-palmated Plover 21
Least Sandpiper 8
DC Cormorant 1
Willet 15
Mourning Dove 2
clouds of Sanderlings
all the regular Gulls

On our way home a few miles west of Salisbury, just as the sun was setting,
we saw a flock of 70 Canada Geese settle into a corn field near Route 50.
