The first winter wren of the season found its way into our nets this
morning at the banding station (on the Chester River in northern QA
County). Also present were a small flock of myrtles and both kinglets.
The best bird of the day was an adult female sharp-shinned hawk banded
at another location. As soon as we find out where it was banded, I'll
post it.
