Hi All: Well, one can only hope for a repeat of a spectacular flight. We birdwatchers are eternal optimists. My rational self knew that chances of a major BW flight 2 days in a row was minimal, but the optimist in me really hoped. Grey and overcast conditions today, and.....no Broadwings when I left at 10am. However, we had another PEREGRINE at 9:30 am, have tallied PF now 3 days running. Also 14 SS and 3 Coops. TREE and ROUGH-WING SWALLOWS continue to move through. FLICKERS are congregating, 10 in one snag as I walked to the point. My first SAPSUCKER of the season also. Wish I knew all those warbler call notes; many leaving the point across the water. With the overcast, they all looked like grey blobs. Leslie Fisher Cecil County
