Hi folks, Not a lot happening at Turkey Point yesterday from noon to 6. About 50 raptors, mostly accipiters (Not a single Broad-winged, after 1400 the previous day!) But we did have a hummer and 2 nighthawks. The Myrtles have begun to arrive at the Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary migration station. We also had our first "yellow" Palm Warbler yesterday - got only the "westerns" earlier this season. Must have seen over 1000 Blue Jays at Turkey Point, but only had one in the net at Jug bay. charlie ===== ****************************** Charlie Muise, Naturalist Jug Bay Wetlands sanctuary Next to the Beautiful Chesapeake Bay Maryland, USA cmmbirds@yahoo.com ****************************** __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
