Hi, Rock Creek Park DC this past weekend was a subdued version of Oct. 1. At picnic areas 17/18, a male Wilson's Warbler, an Ovenbird, a singing male Northern Parula, and a Blue-winged Warbler were sighted Saturday (along with many other species), but not by everybody. The Parula was also seen on Sunday, along with a young Rose-breasted Grosbeak and a young Baltiomore Oriole. Lisa and I missed a Lincoln's Sparrow near the Maintenance Yard on Saturday; no migrant sparrows were sighted there on Sunday. Rob Rob (Robert) Hilton--*robert@csa.com*--Bethesda, Md.
