HI All:
While puttering about the yard transplanting some viburnums, I heard the
unmistakable racous call of a KINGFISHER.  Of course, by the time I
could dump the wheelbarrow and get to my (not ) near (enough ) binos, it
was out of sight.  Not an altogether unfeasible occurence, given that
the farms just down the road have some nice creeks going thru/pond, at
which said bird has been spotted previously.
