Hi All: Pine Siskin sighting this am preceeded by hearing a short harsh call note, shortly after which 4 PINE SISKIN flew into view and proceeded to feed on black oil seed. On Saturday, they were eating both black oil and thistle. These birds were in the company of house finches. A good size comparison, the siskin an obviously smaller bird and much finer bill.
