It is a small area that can be walked at a normal pace in 15 minutes. If you bird the area and check all the little nooks and crannies it can take 2-3 hours (If there is activity). It is one block east of the intersection of Frederick Rd and Centennial Lane. If you are coming from Rt 40, turn left onto Centennial Lane, take the first right (Font Hill Drive). Follow it down just a couple minutes and on your right will be a pond and brown park and rec side that says FONT HILL WETLANDS PARK. Just park on the road and explore the small pond and then follow the paved path and simply keep to the path and boardwalk. Just before the large pond and bridge there is a section of paved path that goes to a mown grass area. If you check in that area and follow it between the houses and trees there is a nice cattail patch where there have been some good birds. If the birding is slow you are only 5-10 minutes from Meadowbrook RT 100 park and ride. Backtrack to 40 and head north to 29(take 29 south). Take the rt 100 exit to the park and ride.
