Greetings Birders Yesterday, during my lunch break, I walked to the Living Classrooms Foundation (802 S. Caroline Street) in the Inner Harbor. The LCF courtyard had a dozen trees and a garden, with a high fence on one side. There were 6 SONG, 12 WHITE-THROATED, and 2 CHIPPING SPARROWS. Then I saw a thrush! It turned out to be a HERMIT THRUSH. Moving along the fence with no cover it was easy to ID. A minute after leaving; I saw a female MERLIN fly to the courtyard and plunge in.
