Hi Greg, Thanks a lot for the info. The Red Trail is the one I tried with no luck. I'll try again sometime, but am going to skip it tomorrow with my guest. I got a tip from Marshall Iliff (!). He said "by far the best place in Maryland" is southern Charles County - an area called the "loop". While I was at CCSP, a woman there told me the same thing. So I may hit that tomorrow. > As for Pt Lookout, I have not seen RHWO since last > year. Maybe someone else has had better luck. I was there a couple times in the last 2 months, and I thought it looked like a decent place. But no luck. BTW, how do you get in there? It seems the gate to the camping area is often closed. Thanks again.
