Hi folks, Thought I'd take this opportunity to mention a good book I just started reading. Having not finished it (read 3 chapters, looked at all the graphics, skimmed the rest, so far) I can't say a whole lot about it, but _Gatherings of Angels - Migrating Birds and Their Ecology_ which is edited by Kenneth P. Able seems to be a very good overview of migration. First 2 chapters, written by Able, are an overview of "What we already know" sort of stuff - a great way to bone-up. The rest are by other experts and cover specific research venues. Oh, and I saw a Goshawk today - over my girlfriend's mother's house in SE PA.
