4 Baltimore birders ventured to Bald Friar Rd. this morning to look for Pacific Loon. We found 2 loons on the Susquehanna but alas, they were both Commons. Best bird found near the river was an Eastern Phoebe. 2 of us took a brief walk at Cromwell Valley Park in mid-afternoon, and added Merlin, Kestrel, and Sharpie to the day's list. Peter Lev Towson, MD
