Hi all -- Barry and I went over to Annapolis to try for the Lark Sparrow Marshall Iliff found yesterday. We met Marshall there, and proceeded to comb all the fields. As Marshall said, a terrific-looking area. Unfortunately, we never found the Lark Sparrow, and perhaps the sparrows were being more skulky in today's breeze. However, Barry found a Yellow-breasted Chat in a hedgerow, and Marsall found a Gray Catbird virtually in the same spot -- so who knows what goodies lurk in this little corner of AA County? Marshall is hoping that the sparrow is still there (and so are we!) Gail Mackiernan and Barry Cooper
