I spent from 10:30 to 12:00 and again from 1:15 to 2:00 on Wednesday.  No 
shrike.  Not much of anything, to be honest, except for a Yellow-bellied 
Sapsucker, kestsrels, a couple of White-crowned Sparrows and a harrier.  And, 
of course, several very carefully observed mockers.
