[MDOsprey] Binoc problem

Hi all

While doing the Christmas count in windy, cold weather, I had trouble
with my binocs.  The focus adjustment became so stiff it was almost
impossible to turn.  I missed several birds because of this.  Has anyone
else had this problem in cold weather?  What can I do about it, if
anything?
