I forgot that the BBL changed what is printed on the band.  They used to
say:
AVISE BIRD BAND
WRITE Washington DC, USA

Which was helpful for returns found in Spanish speaking counties.  Do you
know why they changed it?  I thought Washington DC was used because more
people recognized Washington than Laurel.  Maybe it is because of the
switch from USFWS to USGS.  Do you know why Kathy K?  Just curious.
