Kudos to the birders that attended my "spring" walk this morning. Not too much activity in the cold/wind/rain/sleet but thanks to Ward's sharp eyes we viewed a lovely adult BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT HERON perched high in the trees. COMMON LOONS and D-C CORMORANTS on the water and flying over. The TOWHEES were singing nicely.
