We have two black-crowned night herons down at our lake right now and the
first thing we noticed is that their legs are different colors. However,
they aren't the same colors shown in the book. One is yellow and the other
is sort of a pink. The immature night herons in the National Geographic
guide are greenish.
So does anyone know what the pink would be? I don't have my Sibley here
right now. It might say.
