Hi --

Barry and I went to Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens and then the National
Arboretum this morning. KAG was pretty quiet, we did see the Red-headed
Woodpecker, plus Golden-crowned Kinglets, couple of Blue-winged Teal and a
number of Phoebes. One new arrival -- Chimney Swift! A Caspian Tern was also
seen over the river.

The Arboretum was quite birdy, in contrast: 3 Pine Warblers (2 singing) at
Hickey Hill, also Golden and Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers,
pair of Brown Thrashers, singing Hermit Thrushes, Red-breasted Nuthatch
(heard only, alas), three Sapsuckers, and a brief look at the Orange-Crowned
Warbler feeding from camellia blossoms in the Asian Collection.
