Hi all,
 This morning while out with the dog, who is not nearly as patient a birder
as one of my former dogs, I saw my first Blue-gray Gnatcatcher of the season,
flitting briefly in the pondside willows. A pair of Brown Thrashers were
around, and yesterday there were at least 3, 2 of which were "fighting" and chasing
each other around the hedgerow. Hopefully the rain and cold will keep the
birds south of here, and on Thursday or Friday when it begins to clear out, the
birds will pour forth over the weekend (when I can enjoy them!).
