2. For that price, you are pretty limited. I would go to Cape May, NJ and check out the many binoculars at the CMBO stores (and go birding!).  The Spring Weekend is coming up there, too -- there is a show as part of the weekend that offers a great place to look at binoculars (and scopes) (and go birding).
