From 6:00pm - 7:30pm this evening I walked through Cylburn Arboretum. Did
not see much but around 7:15 was finally rewarded with a Northern
Waterthrush. Others included the usual residents as well as:

- Chimney Swift
- Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
- Yellow rumped Warbler, I agree w/ Stan Arnold, they are resplendent in
their alternate plummage
- Eastern Towhee, nice because he was singing away at the top of a leafless
tree
- Field Sparrow (2), fun to find them in migration out of their usual
habitat
- Chipping Sparrow (2)
- Junco (1), two weeks ago they were everywhere
- Brown-headed Cowbird (3)

Cylburn is very beautiful right now and well worth a visit if you are going
to be in or near central Baltimore.
This morning while driving to work along Falls Road and the Jones Falls
River with my car window down, quite near to the Howard Street bridge, I
heard a Prairie Warbler singing. Amazing.
