I was at Conowingo Dam last week 4/15/04, after one of
my deliveries in eastern harford and Port Deposit in
cecil.
The white bird that Les saw was a Great Egret. I had
one there with over 120 great blue herons. I counted
at least 98 nests but might be more there. Also one
Black-crowned Night Heron was occupied on one of the
heron's nest.

About the cormorant, I had over 500 up and down the
river from the dam down to lapidum landing. I was
there for about 45 minutes.
