Hello everyone, Pat asked me to report sighting both a male and female
Ruby-throated Hummingbird at our feeder today. One showed up (female) at
mid-morning and the male showed up mid-afternoon. Believe both birds were
migrants as they took long drinks and headed to the north as if on a
mission. Stayed home today doing yard work so didn't have much time to
observe. Very envious of Sue Ricardi and her folks at Fort Smallwood and
will be sure Pat and Chris get to see the Hawk Watch at Fort Smallwood next
year, what great numbers these past two weeks. Good Birding, Marty Cribb,
Callaway, St Mary's Co, Md
