Jim reported see an American Bittern flushed out at
wetlands couple days ago.

Not a good day for warblers. Jim had a fallout on Mon
and Tues before the storms came. Today was a perfect
day for birding and easy for me to scan the old Fort
Carroll in a good light. We all had a good closeup
view on single flyby Black-crowned Night Heron at
weltands headed E. Second bird was scoped out at the
old fort.
